We offer chairs designed to meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. A commitment that is reflected in our production processes. All parts of the chair are from suppliers in the EU, ensuring high quality and adherence to strict environmental and functional standards.
Our chairs feature frames and mechanisms from Italy, while wheels, gas lifts, and bases are sourced from Germany. The upholstery is carefully crafted in Slovenia, alongside the production of the chair’s plastic components by the prominent manufacturer Skaza

“We are Gudmundur Ludvik and Hee Welling, and together we have designed the new educational chair for International Furniture. Our goal was to create a chair that balances seating comfort, functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability. It has been an exciting challenge to find the perfect balance between these elements. We dedicated a lot of time optimizing the ergonomics to ensure that the chair offers both comfort and flexibility in use.
Moreover, we significantly focused on making the chair multifunctional, so it can be used in various environments—from educational settings to offices. Sustainability has been a key part of the design process, which is why we chose recycled materials. We designed the chair with versatility in mind, allowing users to sit both normally and backwards. This process has been extensive, but we are proud of the final result, which combines functionality and aesthetics in a way we believe is both innovative and timeless.

“We sell thousands of tables for educational use each year, but no chairs to go with them.
Over the years, we have explored various options to find the right shell and components with the appropriate features at a reasonable price, and we have now succeeded.
In 2020, we had a conversation with the architects Hee and Gudmundur at a fair about our thoughts and desires for a new chair. Fortunately, they found it exciting and wanted to help create our new chair
We wanted the chair to be made from recycled plastic and designed with sustainability in mind. We also wanted it to be possible to sit backwards on the chair. The architects suggested that the seat and backrest could be available in different colors. Additionally, the seat or backrest could be replaced, making the chair more sustainable.
The architects also designed a four-legged frame, so the chair could be used as a meeting, guest, or canteen chair.
